How do I pay?
When you make your booking, you'll need to pay a 50% reservation deposit. This protects the date of your booking. Your remaining balance won't be required until one month before your wedding if paying by Bank Transfer, or on the day of your wedding if paying by cash.
Are you going to get in everyone's way with big heavy equipment?
Absolutely not! I completely understand this concern, the last thing you want is for your day to be ruined when Auntie Sue gets whacked in the face with a giant video camera during the ceremony... but relax, Sue's going to be just fine. I use small DSLR/Mirrorless cameras which look just like the cameras you'd use to take photos. Which leads me nicely on to the next question on this list...
Can you do photography?
My camera might look exactly like the photographer's, and I might get mistaken for a photographer by your guests throughout the day, but no, I'm not a photographer. Photography and Videography are two very different skills, and if you're looking for a photographer, I can point you in the direction of some very talented people I've met during my career.
Do we need to feed you?
This is entirely up to you! If you'd like to arrange for a meal to be provided then I would gratefully accept. However, I totally understand if you'd prefer not to, I really don't mind. All I ask is that you do let me know in advance either way, so that I know whether or not I need to bring my own food with me.
How and when will I get my video?
One of the ways we keep the cost down here at The Affordable Wedding Co. is by removing unnecessary extras in our packages, such as USB memory sticks, DVDs and Blu-Rays. Instead, all of your video files are sent to you directly via a secure, password protected email platform called WeTransfer, which costs you absolutely nothing to access.
Do you cover my location?
The Affordable Wedding Video Co. covers the North West, Yorkshire, East Midlands and West Midlands. If you are outside of these regions, please get in touch as we may be able to make a special exception.
Are you insured?
Of course. You can never be too careful which is why I have full Public Liability Insurance. Your venue might ask for proof of this, in which case I'd be happy to email them in advance.
